Evelyn is the principal attorney and owner of Bezaire & Leathers. She received her law degree from Whittier Law School where she was the recipient of a Dean’s Scholarship. Evelyn graduated cum laude, in the top 20th percentile of her class. She received honors of distinction in Legal Writing and Research, Wills and Trusts, Disability Law and Labor Law.  She also served as the Managing Editor of the Whittier Journal of Child and Family Advocacy. Evelyn has been an advocate for disabled students by helping them to receive an appropriate education. 

​She is currently a member of the American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association, as well as, a member of the Trust and Estates section in each association.

Evelyn has been practicing exclusively in the areas of Trusts and Probate law for over 10 years. She has extensive experience in drafting trusts, wills, powers of attorney that are specific to the needs of each client. She also handles litigation for certain trust/probate matters. The process of litigating unhappy beneficiary, trustee, and/or interested persons issues has developed her ability to recognize and protect clients.

​Evelyn moved to Southern California from Texas, with her husband Stephen in 1989.  Stephen is a former police investigator/supervisor and currently practices criminal defense law in California.
